| Ancient Egypt is a fascinating era filled with intrigue. As I explored the different facets of this great civilization, I stumbled upon the website for the much-anticipated grand opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum just outside of Cairo on the Giza Plateau with thousands of artifacts this November. The first of its kind showcasing over 6,000 years of history from the Old Kingdom through Roman Egypt. In one chapter of my new time travel manuscript, the characters embark on a journey of discovery into a seemingly mysterious and enchanting world of ancient Egyptian culture. Before time traveling to the past, they do a trial run with the Stargate arriving in present-day Cairo. I’m still plotting, so I hope to share more of the story later this summer, along with the title and cover reveal.
