In 2015, I was invited to write a short story for the Mirror, Mirror Collection, never imagining that it would evolve into The Witches of Hant Hollow trilogy. The inspiration for Antique Mirror came from my grandfather’s farm—a haven for my imagination—and an antique mirror now in my home. This mirror, gifted to my grandmother in 1915 as a wedding present, always fascinated me. I often wondered what stories it could tell and created one through writing.
